With the new camping-season approaching we would like to inform you of some
pieces of news.
Prices:
Since everything is getting more expensive every year we too have been obliged
to raise our prices somewhat, i.e. to the limited extent of only 5 %. Furthermore
we will maintain our discount system introduced last year: 1 - 7 days 15 %,
8 - 14 days 20 %, 15 days - 1 month 30 % ( out of season, excluding electricity
). During the high season you will be charged for:
2 persons, camping-pitch, parking space and electricity ( 6 Amp ): €
21,55 a day, during the low season ( the first week ): € 18,85. Prices
are inclusive of hot showers and hot water at all washbasins. Additionally
we have installed a washing- machine which can be used by our guests at reimbursement
of expenses.
Tasquina
Meanwhile we now have a community room / bad weather accommodation: a so-called "Tasquina" ( canteen ), where you can have a delicious espresso or cappuccino and can buy fresh bread from 09.00 hours. To this has been added a nice terrace so that, if you wish, you can enjoy the sunshine outside. In the afternoon and evening you can buy here refreshments and snacks. Proving there is sufficient interest - and you subscribe before - you can have a simple dinner here, very convenient when on holiday. In this space we also have our library-corner, including strips and games for children and adults.
In our Tasquina we have a welcoming wood-burning stove, so that also during chilly nights in early and late season you can spend the evening very comfortably indeed. You can also watch T.V. here, while at certain times you can make use of wireless internet.
Activities
As usual from April our swimming-pool is clean and ready for use.
On Saturday nights we traditionally organise a common meal ( again after subscription
) at which ( next to water ) we serve our home-made wine to an unlimited extent
( for children non-alcoholic drinks of course ). During the high season, on
Saturday nights every other fortnight, we seek to invite a fado or folkdance
group that will perform for you. And in the next autumn / winter, if we have
a successful camping season, we will start building an unsophisticated wood-fuelled
sauna.
As you see we keep busy improving our campsite in order to make your stay
with us even more pleasant.
