Walking
In the Serra da Estrela you can make day-trips or hikes of more days. From Seia (some 25 km.) one can take part in guided walks, also the untrained. CISE (Centro de Interpretação da Serra da Estrela).

Canoeing trips can be made on the Rio Mondego, 25 km downstream between Penacova and Coimbra

From the campsite you can make ATB tours. Hiring facilities available.

Viseu has a marvellous (forest) golf course.
